- Defense verdict. Represented hospital in case involving alleged failure to properly treat 14 month old infant in the hospital’s Emergency Room. Injuries included hypoxia, pneumococcal brain infection, with resultant encephalitis, cerebral palsy, severe mental retardation and spastic quadriparesis. $28,000,000 demand.
- Defense verdict. Alleged negligent insertion of anterior chamber lens during cataract surgery, causing tear in the iris. Demand was $250,000.
- Defense verdict. Represented hospital in case involving nursing negligence, use of restraints, fall and fractured hip in 89 year old female.
- Defense verdict. Alleged failure to diagnose cerebral abscess in 47 year old stockbroker, subsequent development of bacterial endocarditis, and seizure disorder. Case settled during plaintiff’s direct case by co-defendant hospital. Claim against physician client discontinued without payment.
