- Defense verdict. Alleged failure to properly perform cataract removal surgery resulting in bilateral retinal detachments rendering plaintiff legally blind in both eyes, against ophthalmologist and Eye Care Center. The demand was $2 million.
- Defense verdict. Action involved claims of negligence in performance of bilateral hallux exostectomies and hemiphalangectomies of smaller toes in a 56 year old patient, with alleged improper performance of follow-up Akin osteotomy of the right hallux, causing shortening of right hallux and abnormal angulation.
- Defense verdict. Action involved claim against a plastic surgeon that patient’s care was not managed properly following bilateral blepharoplasty to remove excess skin on upper and lower eyelids. Patient suffered a stroke after surgery, with a claim of improper anticoagulation therapy, and had limited ambulation.
- Defense verdict. Action involved a claim of negligence against interventional radiologist during the performance of a cardiac catheterization procedure, causing pseudoaneurysm and severe paralysis.
